Real Estate broker, appraiser, plantation manager, conservationist… Calvert W. Huffines wears many hats. His accomplishments in these areas over the past 35 years are too numerous to name.
At the helm of one of the Lowcountry’s premier real estate companies, Huffines prefers to focus his unique abilities on the sale of large high-end acreage, historically significant Southern Plantations, Luxury Estates and prestigious hunting properties. As a valuable client asset and to support his hands-on sales and marketing efforts, Calvert Huffines has cultivated an extensive network of value-added partnerships. He leverages these unique relationships to benefit each client with the sale of their property.
As real estate entrepreneur and conservationist, Huffines was among the first in the Lowcountry to recognize the unique opportunity for environmental preservation. His pioneering work in conservation easements was instrumental in the preservation of thousands of acres of South Carolina wilderness to be enjoyed for generations to come. Calvert Huffines was recognized for his outstanding achievements by the SC Wildlife Federation with their prestigious Land Conservation Award.
Calvert Huffines shares his enthusiasm for the great outdoors and his affection for hunting, fishing and sailing with his lovely wife, Madeline and his two grown children: Hannah, a publicist in Atlanta, GA. and Cubby, a maintenance engineer on Edisto Island.
